Experiencing God

“Draw close to God, and He will draw close to you….” (James 4:8)

If you desire more of God, then you’ll enjoy the following three scriptural principles:

1) You initiate and then He responds. You act…He reacts: “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise”. When you do this, you will soon find yourself in His presence as He ushers you in to the Holy of Holies experience. (Taken from the Old Testament Tabernacle Experience)

2) David tried to bring the Ark of the Covenant (representation of His presence) back to Judah his way. Someone died as a result. He had to stop the procession, and then look into God’s Word to find out how to handle the things of God properly. We can’t approach God and handle the things of God our way. It has to be His way and then you will experience His presence.

3) The Tabernacle of the wilderness was placed in the center of the encampment. To enjoy the presence of God, we need to make sure that He is in the center of our lives, and everything else revolves around Him.
