Why Fast?
"Get Out of the Boat - Why Fast? You need to Get Out of the Boat and this is another opportunity to step out in faith. Praying and fasting is not obsolete. When we pray and fast we hear more clearly from God. If more believers would return to these time tested practices and put off the distractions of the world and earnestly seek to hear from God, our culture would look different. The reason we fast is to humble ourselves before God so we can better hear His voice. This message leads us through what scripture tells about Fasting.

"Tough Questions - Week 6". God’s supreme gift to his people, is himself. He gave his son for us, sending him to die in our place so our sins could be forgiven (John 3:16). He has made us his children by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9) giving us new life in his spirit (Romans 8:9). God also gave each of us spiritual gifts that we might be effective witnesses to this world. In this message we have a discussion about how to discover your gifts.

Someone asked a wise older pastor about his view of the end times. He smiled and said the Lord put me on the preparation committee not the planning committee.
You know this pastor speaks for all of us. We cannot control how the Lord chooses to end history. Our theories about the future are just that theories. The word of God is too practical to focus extensively on an issue which possesses no pragmatic value for our lives. There is a way to be prepared, find out how in this message.
